Excellent shoe

Awesome shoe. Above expectations on everything except the long 6 month lead time. That said, will continue to be a Paul Evan’s customer going forward for all my leather shoes.

I really liked the shoe but i bought the wrong size.

Attractive shoes, comfortable and well made. Good value. However, having ordered online without seeing them a first time experience, I would have ordered a 7.5 as a bit long. The workmanship is good and finish and color very good.

The Evans Company kept me informed during lengthy delivery process, which was not their fault. Good account service, a rare commodity today.

I purchased these shoes in January and got them mid-August.

They were on back order in January to be delivered by March.

I'll give the company a pass for all the challenges with importing anything from Europe these past months in notorious 2020.

I will say this about their customer service, EVERY TIME I emailed (about once monthly starting in June) to make sure my shoes were still in the pipeline and my order on their radar; EVERY TIME, I had an answer that my shoes were indeed on the way and the company was doing their best to navigate the importing of the shoes in a time of Covid............they answered my email within a few hours. EVERY TIME.

Since the company valued my concern and responded to me quickly, I'll be a returning customer. They did not let me hang and wonder what was happening.

And yes, the shoes were INDEED worth waiting for. I was just running my hands over the brown leather prior to writing this, and the feel reminds me of the most luxurious, of leather car seats. Rich and Supple.

Respect to Paul Evans for this shoe that is the apogee of STYLE and QUALITY.
